Sneakerhead Swap Shop

Sneaker culture got its start in New York in the 1970s, mostly among playground ballers  and the forefathers of an emerging genre of music called hip-hop. Over the next three decades, rappers and pro basketball players -- most notably, Run DMC and Chicago Bulls legend Michael Jordan -- would play integral roles in boosting the popularity of rare kicks. Collectors, known as sneakerheads, have lined up to pay hundreds, even thousands, of dollars to ensure few people are wearing the same shoes. Our barber, Top Notch, has become a dedicated collector  and is now committed to hosting the  "SNEAKERHEAD SWAP SHOP", a bi-monthly event where collectors, like himself, can buy, sell, trade, or even display some of  the rarest and flyest kicks around.
